Milwaukee Street Restaurant Group today announced that partner Tom Wackman is no longer part of the group that now includes Mike Polaski and Omar Shaikh. The duo has also changed the group's name to SURG Restaurant Group. Wackman, meanwhile, "will pursue other separate opportunities."

Nuovo Centanni opens tomorrow on Water Street. The grand re-opening bash begins early at 6 p.m. and features live music, complementary appetizers and drink specials.

Centanni, 218 N. Water St., has new ownership, the SURG Restaurant Group which owns Mi-key's and other places in greater Milwaukee. The new owners don't plan many changes.
