As the city of Milwaukee seems on the precipice of moving toward some kind of development renaissance I've been thinking about the people to this city who are important to the City of Milwaukee. What I've come up with is a two-part series. In this installment I'm going to try and identify the 14 people most important to Milwaukee.

If you've ever been to The Iron Horse Hotel and thought, "I can't believe I'm in Milwaukee," you're not alone. One of the minds behind that experience is Brigette Breitenbach, owner of Company B and partner in the newest Milwaukee lounge, Black Sheep, full-service upscale bar, restaurant and wine tap at 216 S. 2nd St. that officially opens Monday, Aug. 12.

Regular readers of this column know that periodically I write about people who should be famous for the stuff they do. They are generally unsung people who ought to be getting more attention for their work. Well, there's a flipside to all of that, as well. We'll call it people who we could really do without.

The effect of other people's opinions (OPO) can be extremely powerful. Input from a collective group can be helpful, valuable and quite constructive. On the flipside, there are times when unsolicited OPO makes its way into your life.

All very nice but, Does anybody read this ? And yes I can pass a background check , drug test and anything but a spelling test, Go figure , judged by spelling , A life long issue !! and a 180 IQ ?Odd ? Is it not .
