To be sure, the polls are unscientific. But from my ongoing conversations with many of you, I think they do a fair job of generally reflecting what you're thinking out there. Some of our poll results are surprising. Some not so much.

There are lines at nearly every polling location, but I have to say, from what I've heard, they aren't as bad as I imagined. At least not yet.

I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little too wrapped up in next Tuesday's election. I'm spending waaaay too much time on the Web sites of CNN.com and the super-detailed fivethirtyeight.com. When I get home from work, I'm watching utterly too much cable news and commentary.
