In the summer of 2012 - mere weeks after Marvel unleashed "The Avengers" - "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" humbly unveiled its own super-team, albeit of delightful grayed British thespians. Three years later, the once pleasant franchise alternative has turned into a franchise itself. And while the returning parade of wrinkled Brits may not resemble your typical Hollywood sequel, the end result - disappointment - feels sadly all too familiar.
