On an unseasonably warm and sunny February afternoon, a few OnMilwaukee.com employees stood on top of - and climbed inside - the Allen-Bradley clock tower, aka "The Polish Moon." It was a fascinating experience, thanks to tour guide Steve Strzok.

Just because you never hear good things about Bradley Tech High School in Walker's Point doesn't mean there isn't any. Perhaps the key to hearing positive news about Tech is looking beyond Milwaukee. (That's kind of a sad commentary, isn't it?)

Cedarburg's Bob Smith is a man with a common name and an uncommon talent. Smith makes his living as a "voice talent" for commercials that air on the radio, television and videos around the world.

Project Lead the Way is a national program that has made big waves across the country and in May grabbed headlines when it was announced that 20 percent of the schools on Newsweek magazine's "America's Best High Schools" list offered PLTW's science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) program. At MPS' Escuela Vieau all sixth, seventh and eighth graders participate.
