Sure, Summerfest is about the music. But for many, it's also about the food and drink, too. Wine coolers, mozzarella sticks, roasted corn ... don't get us started. There's so much good food, it's easy to lose track. But each year, the list gets longer. Here's a quick look at some of the new drinking and dining options at this year's Big Gig, which runs from June 27-July 1 and July 3-8.

Sil's Mini Donut Shop, 1802 E. North Ave., will close at the end of April. The lease for the uniquely-shaped structure on the corner of North and Oakland Avenues was not renewed, but co-owner Susan Beaumont says the business will remain at the 7 Mile Fair and summer festivals.

OnMilwaukee.com readers picked Culver's as their favorite local fast food joint. Culver's is a chain that's based in Prairie du Sac, Wis. The first hamburger-and-ice-cream eatery opened in 1984 in Sauk City, and today, there are 390 Culver's restaurants all over the country.

Milwaukee is an underrated restaurant town with literally hundreds of places to sit down for an intriguing, satisfying meal. Sometimes, there just isn't time. Sometimes, you need to grab something to go. Because so many of us are pressed for time, we decided to include drive-through restaurants in our Best Dining poll for 2008. The winner, with nearly 25 percent of the vote, was Culver's.
