Faythe Levine has single handedly, and in collaboration with many others, put Milwaukee on many maps. She started the first indie arts and crafts fair, Art vs. Craft, in 2004, and later, innovative galleries like the now-defunct Paper Boat and Sky High.

Since he bought it in1999 Aaron Polansky has helped transform Sky High skateboard shop from a place to pick up a T-shirt and some grip tape into a driving force in his Bay View neighborhood.

After severely disappointing my mom, sister and gal pals during the 2009 holiday gift giving season, I was happy to hear about Faythe's new pop-up shop, conveniently located just a few blocks south of the old space within her boyfriend Aaron Polansky's Sky High skate shop, 2501 S. Howell Ave..
