Milwaukee's musical IPO
Started 10 years ago in Los Angeles, International Pop Overthrow has become the world's best power pop music festival. Now, the event -- which has expanded to include gigs in other cities like New York and Liverpool, England -- adds Milwaukee.

Pipitone's spry pop is perfect "Music for Minivans"
Pipitone now fronts a band that carries his surname and the quartet's debut disc, "Music for Minivans," is worth a listen. Up 'til now Pipitone's biggest claim to fame was the Children's Hospital capital campaign song he wrote. "Music for Minivans" could change that for good.
