Thurman's can't be dead

According to an employee, Thurman's 15, 1731 N. Arlington Pl., is closed for repairs. The bar, he says, will reopen in the future but was unsure when. I really hope this is true.

Recently, because of an OnMilwaukee.com reader's suggestion, we stopped in at Fuzzy's Sports Pub and Grill in Waukesha to chat with bartender Kristi Chase. Turns out, we had a great brunch and found Chase easy and fun to chat with about all sorts of topics, from gambling to family to spraying Cubs fans with water.

Fanatics Sports Central is "closed for maintenance"

According to a sign on the door, Fanatics Sports Central, 185 N. Jefferson, is "closed for maintenance." At this point, the owners are unavailable for comment.
