Heavy hearts on E Street
Danny Federici, who spent 40 years as the organist and keyboard player for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, died Thursday afternoon at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City after a three-year battle with melanoma.

Heavy Web traffic fuels Springsteen ticket glitch
Tickets for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's Aug. 30 concert at Harley's 105th anniversary party were to go on sale Saturday but a technical glitch -- apparently caused by heavy Web traffic -- snarled the system.
