The fourth annual Jam for Jamaica Music and Camping Festival will be held May 16-19 in Sullivan. Almost 40 musical acts spanning a wide variety of genres and styles have been announced to headline the event, says event founder Craig Baumann.

There's a reason Milwaukee is known as the City of Festivals. From ethnic fests to church to county and statewide fairs, summer is our area's time to shine. In so many ways, we love each and every Milwaukee-area festivals. But that's not to say they couldn't be even better. In the spirit of our famous OnMilwaukee.com "100 things" lists, here are a whole bunch of ideas on how to take Milwaukee's fests up a notch.

Every weekend there's a festival in Brew City, some of which are held at the Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest grounds) and some that simply bust out on blocked-off streets or parks. There are pros and cons to both, but most people usually prefer one over the other. So, what's your vote: big or small Brew City festivals?
