MPS: Let the search begin

On Tuesday, the Baltimore City Public Schools board approved the four-year, nearly $1 million contract that will bring MPS Superintendent Dr. Gregory Thornton to that city on July 1. So, it was no big surprise that Thornton submitted his letter of resignation to the Milwaukee Board of School Directors Wednesday, effective June 30. Now, the work of finding a replacement officially begins.
