Milwaukee doesn't have tons of Thai restaurants, but there are a few and almost all of them are quite good, with dishes that range from sweet to tangy, to out-and-out blazing hot. Here is a quick guide to Milwaukee's Thai choices.

Thai Palace is not flashy, but the food is fabulous
While the interior, and certainly the exterior, at Thai Palace are not nearly as glamorous as what one may find at neighboring Thai restaurants, the food here is sublime and the atmosphere is comfortable.

Singha II gives Thai scene Downtown a boost
Thai dining has been given a trendy facelift since Singha Thai II, 780 N. Jefferson St., opened its doors in April in the Jefferson Street space formerly occupied by Los Mitos (and tons more places over the years).

Rice Palace lunch buffet draws faithful crowd
Certainly, the Rice Palace, 3730 W. National Ave., is no secret. It's gotten some coverage since opening about two years ago in a neighborhood that has a growing population of Asian Americans and a growing list of good eateries. But this casual pan-Asian restaurant isn't a hot spot yet, either.
