After a little hand-changing and some minor revamping, the Rosebud is set to re-open this Friday. And, much like the second half of a classic double feature, The Times will soon follow.
A sign on the Rosebud Cinema Drafthouse, 6823 W. North Ave., in Wauwatosa, says the venue, closed for a few months now, hopes to reopen soon. Today, an author with local ties confirmed an event at the theater.
The Rosebud Cinema Drafthouse will add to the Bay View business boom in 2005. The theater -- scheduled to open in summer -- has signed a letter of intent to sublease space from Outpost Natural Foods, also opening next year.
