Tiger Woods missed the Masters Tournament last week, which was won by Bubba Watson. Waton had to fend off 20-year-old Jordan Spieth to claim his second green jacket, and it proves to me that the game is better off without Woods.

Tiger Woods will miss The Masters this week after back surgery, and while the world's top player hasn't won a major championship since 2008, his drought and aura have made for compelling television. Now, the tournament is up for grabs with no real hook for the causal viewer.
