Weeks before 250,000 Harley-Davidson enthusiasts roll into Milwaukee for the motorcycle maker's 110th anniversary, the city will host a national event fueled by a different form of adrenaline. Roughly 3,500 of the country's fastest endurance athletes will create a roar of their own in the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships, Aug. 10 and 11.

West Bend athlete beat clock in race to save his brain

With his doctor's stamp of approval, Karl Schultz will get back to competition this summer, racing against himself and the clock in triathlons and marathons. It's a fortunate return, only possible because a year ago he beat the clock in his most important race, the one to save his brain.

Pumped and racing for the American Heart Association

Milwaukeean Brian Burton, undertakes his second Ironman Triathlon in New York this weekend to raise money for the American Heart Association in the Milwaukee area. In particular, donations raised benefit the American Heart Association's Heart Ball, an annual event support the organization's heart disease initiatives at the Pfister Hotel.
