Take the Milwaukee Challenge: Whole Foods veggie burgers vs. Boca / Gardenburger
OnMilwaukee.com's ongoing "Take the Milwaukee Challenge" series takes on a plethora of locally-made products, but each time summer comes around, we like to put the various components of a backyard barbecue to the test. In this latest segment, we're going veggie and comparing Whole Foods' chef-prepared vegan barbecue burger to frozen brands.

Trouble in veggie burger paradise
For as long as I can remember, I've been smitten with Bella's Fat Cat. To me, it's always been that perfect mix of old school Milwaukee charm (read: creamy custard and big burgers) and progressive-minded menu planning.

Heinemann's grilled coffee cake is no surprise winner
It will come as no surprise to any Heinemann's diner that the grilled coffee cake from the now-shuttered restaurants won by a landslide The Café at the Pfister's poll asking which Heinemann's menu item customers wanted to see added to its menu.
