Ask for information and you shall receive. Not long after posting a brief regarding the closing of east side's Vox, OnMilwaukee.com received confirmation that the Vox is indeed permanently closed and will re-open as Vintage, 2203 N. Prospect Ave., in March.

East Side's Vox is closed

OnMilwaukee.com has come to presume The Vox, 2203 N. Prospect Ave., is closed. Windows covered in brown paper and a disconnected phone number are clues that the East Side bar has shut its doors, at least temporarily.

The bars we once loved
