The 20th annual DÃa de los Muertos show opens this Friday, in conjunction with Gallery Night, at the Walker's Point Center for the Arts, 839 S. 5th St., from 5 to 9 p.m. The exhibit features more than a dozen altars, including one for deceased Milwaukeeans.

The second Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) parade will take place on Friday, Oct. 28 in the Walker's Point neighborhood. The public is invited to free workshops and lectures all month in preparation for the big event.
