As an early taste of its upcoming second full-length disc, Milwaukee band Well Informed Citizens has issued a CD single to ring in the new year. "Leaders of the Revolution" is a rough-edged, hard as nails song that has found the perfect mate in WCGV-TV (Channel 24 in Milwaukee) show, "Wisconsin MMA Today." The song will be the theme for the show, which airs Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. through February.

Good old rock 'n' roll is something many music fans still crave as rock music gets further and further from its '60s and early '70s golden era of experimentation, creation and evolution. There are some musicians, though, that still hold on to the torch and are proud to continue to make music in its vein. Dan Nathan and Well Informed Citizens are some of the prideful, and that love for the "old school" shines through on their self-titled debut.
