Krause, Adrian and others enter the Silver Circle

The Silver Circle was created by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (the same academy that people thank when they get an Emmy award) to have special recognition for people in the media who have had an impact on a community. In Wisconsin, six people will be inducted this year into the circle.

Kidd O'Shea knows where his roots are. And that is why he got a bit teary this morning. On the "Kidd and Elizabeth Show" on WMYX-FM, O'Shea announced that he was leaving the station.


Cain joins Ch. 12 morning news anchor desk

A new anchor will be on the set at WISN-TV CH. 12 for its morning news. On July 6, Chase Cain joins the "WISN 12 News This Morning" team as co-anchor with Melinda Davenport. Cain replaces Patrick Paolantonio, who will be moving to the station's evening newscasts.


Garbaciak, Paolantonio to play greater roles at WISN

Joyce Garbaciak, the one-time anchor at WITI-TV Fox 6 and who has been working as a special correspondent at WISN since 2006, will anchor the Ch. 12 main desk with Kathy Mykleby at 6 and 10 p.m. weeknights. Patrick Paolantonio will move from mornings, re-joining Toya Washington at 5 p.m.


McKee out at WISN-TV 12

WISN-TV Ch. 12 announced Monday that evening anchor Craig McKee is headed to Cincinnati. According to Jan Wade, president and general manager, McKee's last day on the air in Milwaukee will be Friday.
