This week, I'm scoring a radio hat trick, appearing on the three different Milwaukee shows. In addition to my normal Friday segments on WKLH and 540 ESPN, I'm standing in for Adler on the Kramp and Adler show on FM 102.1. So, what would you like me to talk about on the radio this week?


Shift switch: WKLH morning show producer

For one early morning, Publisher Andy Tarnoff did the job of 96.5 WKLH morning show producer, Marcus Allen, the man behind "Dave and Carole" in the morning. Tarnoff pulled clips, he answered phones and he pushed buttons. It's an intense but anonymous job, which is exactly how Allen likes it. Here's a first-person account of this latest "shift switch."

To all the fine people at WKLH and that suggested I write a blog, I would like to respectfully say, "What, are you nuts??" Then it hit me. I answer every e-mail anyway, so why not share them with you? Music questions, business questions, rib questions, comments, advice, confessions and anything in between is fair game.

Milwaukee radio veteran Steve Palec is a busy man. In addition to hosting "Rock and Roll Roots" every Sunday on 96.5 FM WKLH, he also hosts a weeknight show Monday through Fridays called "Legends of Rock" on the station. On top of that, Palec holds a "real" job in commercial real estate as a senior vice president at CB Richard Ellis.
