Talkback: Steve Miller Band to headline Summerfest

Why does it surprise people that the "older acts" are being signed as headliners. The Smiley guy said that he was interested in qaulity, not qauntity, a few years ago when he took over for Bo. He also said that Summerfest would be geared toward an older crowd, with the acts refelcting that change. You've got to give it to the guy: he kept his promise! Actually, it's still pretty early in the headliner announcements and quite frankly, most music today sucks with a small amount of really solid acts that actually know how to jam. Perhaps the lack of choices is due to the lack of qaulity acts touring these days...
