I have always thought of Crean as being a snake in the grass. The way he referred to UW-Milwaukee two years ago will stick in my mind forever. He pointed the finger at the AD from Milwaukee, but it was his ego that killed (at the time) a cross-town matchup.
Good luck to you Creany, you lost 2 starting point guards already at IU, and now have no returning starters. Not to mention the violations coming down from the school and the NC2A! Try running that 3-guard front elsewhere and see the results. These days, just making it to the tourney doesn't count for much anymore. You have to win the first couple rounds to make a name for yourself. Granted, he will have the honor of saying he coached a final four team, but showed the city and school no love in his latest decision.
So now what? Majerus? Right now he is splitting his time in St Louis and Milwaukee. I'm sure he would jump at the chance! Not too high though...he's a big guy!
