mke - c'mon. really, you think that the GM position is just about what goes on on the court and personnel issues? i gotta say that's pretty short-sided if you do. we need a GM that knows how and where to spend money and how to run the business as efficiently as possible. Simmons has never mentioned anything about that, has he? i give him all the credit in the world for being an NBA geek (i didn't think anyone really cared about the NBA anymore), but that does not and should not warrant an interview under any circumstances. listen, everyone has a "cause" and when you have a forum to display your "cause" you get to say what you want, but this doesn't make any sense. not for buzz, not for the bucks, and not for the ticket-buying fans. bottomline, if your looking for a circus at the bradley center, wait until the tripoli circus comes to town not bill simmons.
