Talkback: Thriving in the Third Ward

I grew up helping my grandfather in the Third Ward with the produce docks when I was a small child. I remember it being seedy enough that I could throw bricks at the second story windows of warehouses and never worry about the police. I now work there myself and in no way is it seedy. It is one of many epicenters in this city where you can shop, eat and fully enjoy your surroundings. Plus, with the exception of Water St., it is very quiet.
I guess this guy needs to take a walk through an area he will talk about before he shoots his mouth off. Sure there are rats, and I have seen them, but it is a populated area. Rats feed off the leftovers of the population.
