Isla Mujerus is phenomenal. It's the complete oposite of the over-commercialization in Cancun. We were in Cancun this past January, and spent a day on Isla. Lounging on the beach, going to beach bars, spending WAY less on souveniers, and watching a gorgeous sunset from the upper deck of a restaurant with buckets of Coronas. Our next beach vacation (we usually tear our way around Europe) will be at Playa Norte (North Beach) of Isla Mujerus.
