OnMilwaukee.com hires veteran journalist Eugene Kane


MILWAUKEE – OnMilwaukee.com, Milwaukee's daily magazine, announced today the hiring of Eugene Kane as senior writer and columnist. Kane will join the award-winning publication on Feb. 4.

Kane is a former metro columnist for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. A veteran columnist and blogger, he has won several prestigious national journalism awards, including two first place National Headliner Awards for Best Local Column as well as first place for Best General Column from the Society of Professional Journalists.

Kane is a native of Philadelphia and a graduate of Temple University.

"I'm really excited to continue my career in media at OnMilwaukee.com," said Kane. "Digital is the future of the media business, and I'm glad to join a great team that has already proven they know how to do online journalism right."

Congrats! Thank goodness there is an alternative news outlet. The Milw Urinal is done.... I see the bigot's are following Eugene again.. Just like the hounds they are.. Milwaukee would be a much better place if it could get rid of those suburban parasites. Roll up the freeways or divert them to the south...
