Hey, Milwaukee it's Earth Day 2019 and several Brew City locales are doing something special in honor of the huge orb we all call home.

Here are five ways to have fun going green this Earth Day:

1. CBD Dinner at Shakers

Shaker's is offering a four-course dinner with CBD-infused dishes including a CBD salad, CBD Mojo Cuban Pulled Pork Tacos and more. Starts at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 22. Go here for all the deets.

2. Earth Day Bingo

The Zablocki Library, 3501 W. Oklahoma Ave., has family-friendly Earth Day Bingo at 7 p.m. in the community room. Check it out here.

3. Alice's Garden Earth Day Drop-In

Swing by the beautiful, healing and serene Alice's Garden, 2136 N. 21st St., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to hang out and read or write or paint or draw or walk the labyrinth or pull a few weeds or listen to the birds or play an instrument or just be present and breathe deeply and give thanks for the Earth.

4. Meet "John Muir"

Celebrate Earth Day by meeting the father of our modern environmental movement, Sierra Club, and national parks, John Muir, portrayed by actor Paul Akert, at the Riverside Urban Ecology Center, 1500 E. Park Pl. 7 p.m. More here.

5. Paint trees at Betty Brinn

Take the kids – age 4 and up – to paint Truffulua trees at the Betty Brinn Museum, 929 E. Wisconsin Ave. The class starts at 4 p.m. and the cost is $5. Find out more here
