Milwaukee Art Museum has teamed with Door County's Stone's Throw Winery to create signature MAM wines, the museum announced Friday.
The wines -- there is a red and a white -- are available at the museum's cafe, in the shop and at special events at $16 per bottle or $172.80 for a 12-bottle case. They are produced specially for the museum by Stone's Throw Winery, which makes more than two dozen wines -- including a rare American grignolino -- with grapes grown in Sonoma, Napa and Monterrey Counties in California.
The red is a blend of Zinfandel, Carignane and Petite Syrah grapes from California and the white blends California Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc.
