Summerfest has announced the 2011 headliners for the M&I Classic Rock Stage. They are:

Wednesday, June 29 -- Hall and Oates, 10 p.m.

Thursday, June 30 -- REO Speedwagon, 9 p.m.

Friday, July 1 -- Styx, 10 p.m.

Saturday, July 2 -- Loretta Lynn, 10 p.m.

Sunday, July 3 -- Blue Oyster Cult, 9 p.m.

Tuesday, July 5 -- Cinderella, 9 p.m.

Wednesday, July 6 -- Peter Frampton, 9 p.m.

Thursday, July 7 -- Kansas, 9 p.m.

Friday, July 8 -- Leon Russell, 10 p.m.

Saturday, July 9 -- TBA, 10 p.m.

Sunday, July 10 -- Toots and the Maytals, 9 p.m.

Headliner acts for the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Stage & Pavilion will be announced Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Northern Lights Theater at Potawatomi Bingo Casino, 1721 W. Canal St.

Everyone in attendance will receive a free Summerfest opening pay ticket and the first 100 attendees will receive a Potawatomi Goodie Bag that includes a Reward Play coupon.

There will also be live music, happy hour specials, raffle drawings that include general admission Summerfest tickets, Marcus Amphitheater tickets to see Def Leppard on Tuesday, July 5, band merchandise and more.

You must be 21 years of age or older to attend this event.

A homegrown glove match

If you want to experience real March Madness, head to Racine tonight for the first round of the Wisconsin-Upper Michigan Golden Gloves tournament at John Bryant Community Center. The Golden Gloves has been Wisconsin`s top annual amateur boxing event since 1930, and its alumni include such homegrown ring icons as Tony Martin, Doll Rafferty, Billy Braggs and many others.

The first half was pathetic. Putrid. The worst we have seen from the Packers literally in years. Nothing went well. In a word, ugly. Kansas City converted 12 first downs passing as compared to Green Bay`s two. Orton`s passer rating was more than twice that of Rodgers; 96.8 to 46.0. Jermichael Finley dropped four passes after chirping a couple of weeks ago about not being in synch with Rodgers. Rodgers himself came out flat, missing receiver after receiver - irrespective of the drops.

If I still felt like I was 29 after over 40 years in the music business - something REO Speedwagon`s lead singer, Kevin Cronin, asserted during the band`s Day 2 gig at Summerfest`s M&I Classic Rock Stage - I`d keep touring, too.
