Summerfest brings Aerosmith to the Amp July 7

Rock and roll band Aerosmith will join the 2012 Summerfest lineup with a live show Saturday, July 7 at the Marcus Amphitheater.

The 8 p.m. show is part of The Global Warming Tour, the band's U.S. concert tour. It will also feature an opening performance by special guest Cheap Trick.

Tickets to Aerosmith go on sale Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. They will be available at the Marcus Amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster ticket centers, Walmart stores, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000 or the Ticketmaster Express line at (866) 448-7849.

All tickets include Summerfest admission. Summerfest 2012 runs June 27-July 1 and July 3-8 from noon until midnight, and will be closed Monday, July 2.
