Summerfest announced the 2011 headliners for the Cascio Interstate Music Groove Garage Thursday, the final ground stage headliners to be named.

They are:

Wednesday, June 29 – The Right Now

Thursday, June 30 – The Jeanna Salzer Band

Friday, July 1 – I'm Not a Pilot

Saturday, July 2 – The Invaders

Sunday, July 3 – The Uptown Savages

Tuesday, July 5 – The Fatty Acids

Wednesday, July 6 – Brighton, MA

Thursday, July 7 – Mark Mallman

Friday, July 8 – John the Savage

Saturday, July 9 – Fresh Cut Collective

Sunday, July 10 – Surgeons in Heat

All shows will begin at 9 p.m.

Next week, beginning Monday, that band will be Milwaukee`s Surgeons In Heat, according to frontman Johnathon Mayer. In related news, Jaill`s second Sub Pop record is being mastered today.

Earlier this year, Milwaukee`s Surgeons in Heat digitally released its self-titled debut EP and in mid-summer announced a campaign to raise money for a 10" vinyl version. We talked to Johnathon Mayer from the band, which plays this week at the Cactus Club.
