Neil Diamond to headline Summerfest 2012

Rock and pop icon Neil Diamond will headline Summerfest 2012 with a performance Sunday, July 8 at the Marcus Amphitheater.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee will make his Milwaukee stop as part of his North American tour, which kicks off in June.

Tickets to his 7:30 p.m. Summerfest show go on sale Saturday, Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. at the Marcus Amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster ticket centers, Walmart stores, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000 (live Ticketmaster agent) and (866) 448-7849 ("Ticketmaster Express" automated phone line).
