Rock band Foo Fighters plays Day 2 of Summerfest.

Foo Fighters complete Summerfest's Marcus Amphitheater lineup

Summerfest has announced rock group Foo Fighters will headline the Marcus Amphitheater Thursday, June 28 at 7:30 p.m. Supporting acts will be announced at a later date.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 25 at 10 a.m. They will be available at the Marcus Amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster ticket centers, Walmart stores, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000 or the Ticketmaster Express line at (866) 448-7849.

All tickets include Summerfest admission. Summerfest 2012 runs June 27-July 1 and July 3-8 from noon until midnight, and will be closed Monday, July 2.

Summerfest has announced two more headliners for 2013. Rapper Pitbull will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on Sunday, June 30. Country artist Luke Bryan headline the amphitheater on Wednesday, July 3 with special guests Thompson Square and Florida Georgia Line. Alice Cooper will also play at the Big Gig.
