Summerfest announces Harley Roadhouse headliners for 2011

Summerfest officials Thursday announced the headliners scheduled to play the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse in 2011.

They are:

Wednesday, June 29 – Buddy Guy
Thursday, June 30 – Owl City
Friday, July 1 – Los Lonely Boys (8 p.m.) / Los Lobos (10 p.m.)
Saturday, July 2 – Stephen Marley
Sunday, July 3 – Ben Harper
Tuesday, July 5 – Wiz Khalifa
Wednesday, July 6 – Morris Day and The Time (9:30 p.m.)
Thursday, July 7 – Old 97s (8 p.m.) / G. Love and Special Sauce (10 p.m.)
Friday, July 8 – Gaelic Storm (5 p.m.) / Dropkick Murphys (10 p.m.)
Saturday, July 9 – The Flaming Lips
Sunday, July 10 – Grupo Niche (9:30 p.m.)

All shows begin at 10 p.m. unless noted.

Summerfest will announce the headliners for the Rock Stage Tuesday during an announcement party at the Bay View Brew Haus, 2535 N. Kinnickinnic Ave. The party runs from 5 to 7 p.m. and all attending will receive a free ticket for Summerfest's opening day.

If you look around the Internet, there is no shortage of tracks dedicated to the Green Bay Packers and their success. Last year we saw Prophetic and Pizzle do a remix of Wiz Khalifa`s song "Black and Yellow" - appropriately titled "Green and Yellow" - that caught on like a wildfire around the state, gaining over half a million YouTube hits and spins on radio stations. Going into this season, the trio known as Born Brothaz - who are, indeed, all brothers - released a song dedicated to the Green and Gold called "Go Pack Go."
