The Invaders is likely Milwaukee's longest-lived ska band and you can see video from the group's Summerfest gig on You Tube.

A second chance for Invaders fans

There's a wealth of local music on tap at Summerfest each year and it's hard to see it all. Veteran local ska outfit The Invaders have been back to the Big Gig many times and played again on Saturday, July 2 to headline the Cascio Interstate Music Groove Stage.

If you didn't get to see the lively, crowd-pleasing band, you'll be happy to know that Earthgardener22 had the foresight to video the gig and post some excerpts on You Tube.

There's some crowd dancing in front of the stage – a testament to The Invaders' danceability – and the audio is pretty darn good.

So click the songtitles to see and hear "Rise Up!," "Try to See," "Where Ya Gone?," "Feels So Good" and an excerpt of "Scootering."
