Summerfest adds Iron Maiden gig

Perhaps a little ironically, Iron Maiden's "Maiden England World Tour" makes its stop at the Marcus Amphitheater on Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4, to headline Summerfest with Alice Cooper.

Summerfest spokesperson Jess Meiller said ticket prices and show time are expected to be announced next week.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 3 at 10 a.m. and include Summerfest admission. You can get 'em at the Marcus Amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster and Walmart stores. Fees may be added to all purchases.

Summerfest is introducing a new attraction that will allow festival-goers to rent paddleboats and travel around the northern portion of the lagoon between Henry Maier Festival Park and Lakeshore State Park, under the Lakeshore State Park bridge and into the marina near Discovery World.
