Kanye juices Big Gig lineup June 30
My speculation yesterday that the Owl City show at Summerfest on June 30 could potentially be at the Marcus has been laid to rest. This morning the Big Gig announced no less a star than Kanye West will headline that day's entertainment.
Opening the 7:30 p.m. show is West's GOOD Music labelmate, singer and actor, Kid Cudi.
The announcement will certainly have Milwaukee's pop music fans buzzing as West remains one of the music industry's biggest and most talked-about personalities.
There's nothing about Kanye that I can tell you that you don't already likely know, so I'll just add that tickets go on sale Saturday, March 26 at 10 a.m. and include Summerfest admission. Ticket prices have not yet been announced and the show was not listed on Ticketmaster.com at the time of writing.
Tickets can be purchased at the Marcus Amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster and Walmart.

i'll tell you something some people don't know about Kanye- he's one of two acts working today (Radiohead being the other) that can fart in a garbage can, add some electro-nonsense and critics will lap it up like it's the second coming of the Beatles. but just because i don't like it doesn't mean it's not a good "get" for summerfest. you see, no one makes me go to things i don't want to go to. well, the girlfriend can...uh oh...i better check with her on this one...
