The Lake Moon Festival is a free event for the public including a 5K race, food, bluff tours, a Plein Air art competition, family activities, fireworks, and much more. The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Concordia University, 12800 N. Lake Shore Dr., Mequon.
Hours: 4 to 10 p.m.
Highlights: Contemporary American rock musician Willy Porter will headline the festival with a performance beginning at 8:30 p.m. Emo rockers Life in a Tree will kick off the Festival at 4 p.m. followed by Wisconsin native and WAMI awarding winning singer Jayme Dawicki at 5:45 p.m.
FYI: The 5K race begins at 6 p.m. and takes participants around CUW's spectacular campus.
