Lake Moon Festival: Aug. 8

The Summer Festivals Guide is presented by Pick 'n Save, Where Wisconsin Saves on Groceries. Pick 'n Save is Wisconsin proud, and excited to help promote and feed the great Milwaukee summer that includes festivals and fun nearly every day. Click to save here!

The Lake Moon Festival is a free event for the public including a 5K race, food, bluff tours, a Plein Air art competition, family activities, fireworks, and much more. The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Concordia University, 12800 N. Lake Shore Dr., Mequon.

Hours: 4 to 10 p.m.

Admission: Free.

Highlights: Contemporary American rock musician Willy Porter will headline the festival with a performance beginning at 8:30 p.m. Emo rockers Life in a Tree will kick off the Festival at 4 p.m. followed by Wisconsin native and WAMI awarding winning singer Jayme Dawicki at 5:45 p.m.

FYI: The 5K race begins at 6 p.m. and takes participants around CUW's spectacular campus.
