Summerfest -- and deep fried eggplant from the Venice Club -- are a mere six or so months away.

Is it too early to think Summerfest?

With a blast of arctic air freezing us out of our britches, it might seem a tad early to ponder the Big Gig. But maybe -- just maybe -- it's just what the doctor ordered for getting us through.

Think about what $20 would buy you at Summerfest. Three beers? Two beers and a combo platter of fried goodies at the Venice Club?

Well, I've got $60 worth of Summerfest lovin' to share with you this morning, in the form of three $20 gift cards. Maybe getting one of these will warm the cockles of your heart (should you actually have some sea-bound bivalves down in there).

Send me the names of the artists (realistic or not -- so go crazy and feel free to pander to my tastes for a potential edge) you'd like to see headline Summerfest this year -- Toby Keith is already announced, so you can only pick 10 of them -- and later today I'll pick the three best lineups and contact the winners.

Happy Monday!

Hey Bobby. Seeing as how I'm probably working there again I'm sure I can't win. So, I'll pander to you and myself. Justin Currie is a must along with some traditional Italian artist. Now that youre taken care of let's have Lyden Moon headline and maybe talk NUNA out of his hiatus (making those movies still). paddy fineran (paddythemediaguy@yahoo.com)
