Summerfest adds Jason Aldean to 2011 Amphitheater lineup

Summerfest Monday announced that country star Jason Aldean will headline the Marcus Amphitheater Friday, July 8.

Aldean has sold more than five million albums, including his latest effort, "My Kind of Party," which included the single "Don't You Wanna Stay," his fifth No. 1 hit.

Joining Aldean on tour will be country newcomer Chris Young and husband-wife duo Thompson Square.

Tickets for the show will cost $48.50, $40 or $30 (plus applicable service charges) and go on sale Saturday, March 19 at 11 a.m. at the Marcus Amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster, Walmart stores, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000.
