Summer Sizzle returns to Historic Third Ward on Aug. 6
The Historic Third Ward will host its neighborhood jazz festival, Summer Sizzle on Saturday, Aug. 6. As always, admission to the festival is free.
A new addition to Summer Sizzle this year is the first ever "Taste of the Ward." Third Ward restaurants will feature both mini-portions and full meals of their respective specialties.
The four-stage festival takes place on the 100, 200, and 300 blocks of North Broadway and features continuous jazz and, for the first time, blues music. Tizer Trio headlines The PyraMax main stage, located in Catalano Square, at 9 p.m.
Festival goers can shop for jewelry, clothes, art, imports and one-of-a-kind gifts, too.
