As you get together with family and friends for some turkey and cranberries, members of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Wave and Milwaukee Admirals step up to  tell you what they're thankful for.

Victor Bartley, Milwaukee Admirals defenseman: I'm just thankful for the position that I'm in right now, just to be able to do what I love for a living and work hard every day and be healthy and have a great family with me. To tell you the truth (Canadian) Thanksgiving (on Oct. 8) I really didn't do too much. Just took it easy. I talked to my folks back home and my brother and all that and they were having their big turkey dinners. They were enjoying it. But myself I basically took it easy. The hardest thing (for today) is to only have one plate of dinner because we play Peoria the next night. That's going to be a tough game so we've got to take it easy.

Mike Daniels, Green Bay Packers defensive lineman: Being in the NFL. I have a loving family and I'm in the NFL – can't beat that.

Marquis Daniels, Milwaukee Bucks guard: Just health, family, life.

Mike Dunleavy, Milwaukee Bucks guard/forward: Oh boy, a lot of things. Family. Friends. The ability to play professional basketball. You're always thankful for your health, on and off the court. And just to be living in a country with the freedom and liberty and things sometimes we take for granted. Sometimes it's nice to take a step back and appreciate those things on Thanksgiving.

Drew Gooden, Milwaukee Bucks forward: I'm thankful for my family's health, being able to celebrate another holiday with your family and everybody's there. You can never take that for granted. You never know what can happen, so just my family being healthy and all the families in the world to just continue to be in good health.

Tobias Harris, Milwaukee Bucks forward: Just being healthy. My family being alive. And to be in this type of situation that I am.

Marshall Newhouse, Green Bay Packers left tackle: Just having my health and just a roof over my head, honestly. It's the littlest things. You see with Hurricane Sandy and after having been to Haiti, there are way more people on this earth who are at a disadvantage than who are at an advantage. So having that perspective...and just being thankful for my family close to me and being able to see them multiple times a year, which a lot of people just don't. A lot of people don't have their family around, so I honestly appreciate those things. Getting to see my friends when I was back home during the bye week was a great refresher and kept my head sound about realizing the grand perspective of what this is all about. Football has its place and its fun but having your family and keeping them first is a big thing to me.

Luan Oliviera, Milwaukee Wave midfielder/forward: First thing I'm thankful for is being healthy and that I can do what I love to do, which is play soccer. The second thing is I'm thankful to be here because I'm enjoying everything. It's a new experience. That's what I'm pretty thankful for. Of course my family. They support me for everything. And I'm thankful for an important person that's (teammate) Marcio (Leite) because he gave me the opportunity. He's like my father here. I'm thankful for having him.

Jeff Saturday, Green Bay Packers center: I'm real thankful right now that the weather in Green Bay has been as good as it's been because it has been super warm out here. I've really been thankful for that. That's probably my funny one. Obviously, man, my family. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because you don't give gifts, everybody just wants to be together and there's nothing better than sitting around the table and sharing what's been most important. That's what we do in my family, we talk about one thing that's been really impactful through the year that they're most thankful for. I love those days, man. At the end of the day that's what it's all about and I'm really appreciative of that.

Israel Sesay, Milwaukee Wave midfielder/forward: First of all I'll say I'm thankful for my family. I'm thankful for my health, to be able to be out here and play. I'm just thankful for life.

Jeremy Smith, Milwaukee Admirals goalie: I'm most thankful for my family. I think that comes first. Secondly, to be able to be healthy enough to play the sport of hockey. And, to be able to play hockey. You look at the NHL level and there are guys that are out of a job right now. I'm thankful fro the opportunity to play and to have the camaraderie of my teammates.

Tramon Williams, Green Bay Packers cornerback: I'm thankful for everything that's pretty much been put in my life so far, from my family, friends, to this game, players, staff, everything. I'm thankful for everything that's gone on in my life. I have no complaints at all.
