CityCenter announces donation totals for Toys for Tots
The CityCenter at 735 in Downtown Milwaukee has collected over 450 toys and more than $1,200 in cash donations during its for Tots toy drive and fundraiser.
Lead security officer Darrell Linski, a former Marine, came up with the idea of hosting the benefit. He, along with fellow CityCenter employees Aaron Ciuplinski, Deanna Schwenner and a small group of colleagues organized the effort.
Contributions came from CityCenter staff and tenants, as well as all of Downtown Milwaukee.
"The people in this building and downtown Milwaukee are extremely generous," said Sheldon Oppermann of Compass Properties, which owns the CityCenter. "A lot of Milwaukee County children are going to get presents this Christmas thanks to the effort and generosity of our great people."
