Get toasted at bars and eateries with fireplaces

In the summer months, the air is our friend, and drinking outdoors is the way to go. But in winter, another element, fire, becomes our best drinking buddy, and toasting – or getting toasted – in front of a fireplace is perfect on a blustery night.

Dave...it was pricey and DIRTY. It felt like eating in the sea lion exhibit at the zoo, with a little bit of the aviary added for good measure. Yech.

College_Dave, it was the Public Natatorium (sp?) and it was VERY cool, but pretty pricey for its day. Wonder what ever happened to the building?

Is there any place that has a fireplace behind the bar kinda like Bryant's has the big fishtank? Btw, what was that place on the south side called that once housed a dolphin tank? I heard that was pretty cool until the health dept put the kibosh on it.
