Genetically Modified Food Awareness Event
Genetically Modified Foods – Educational Series The 411 Live will host free public education event on genetically modified foods on October 24th at 6:00 pm at Cardinal Stritch University, 6801 N. Yates Road, Milwaukee, WI in the Walter Schroeder Auditorium. The event will feature the debut of a compelling six part documentary on the prevalence of genetically modified foods and risks and dangers associated with their consumption. The 30 minute film will explore what genetically modified foods are, possible health risks, transparency in food labeling and alternative food choices. Following the presentation there will be a panel discussion on the issues presented. Panelists include Dr. Susan Riegg, a certified Non-GMO Speaker, Dave Swanson, Chef/Owner of Braise Restaurant and Culinary School, Anne Temple, Non-GMO Activist, Michael R. Gutschenritter, Co-Owner of Three Brothers Farm and David Engel, Executive Director of Nature’s International Certification Services. The event is sponsored by Neo Soul Productions, IKP and Braise Restaurant.
