Soles for Catholic Education

Save the date for our 2nd Annual "Soles for Catholic Education" Walk on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at Mount Mary University! In 2013, more than 7,000 participants walked in the inaugural "Soles for Catholic Education" Walk. Not only did we raise awareness of the benefits of Catholic education, but made a BIG statement about how important Catholic education is in our communities. It really does take one step, one soul at a time, to make a difference for families seeking a quality education. Imagine how many more children and families we can impact if Catholic education is more affordable and accessible. Keep in mind that what makes this Walk unique, is the fact that we gather as an archdiocesan community and schools keep the money they raise to be used for tuition assistance. Thank you again for your support and dedication to Catholic schools in southeastern Wisconsin. They provide an education you can have faith in!

Books Unbound II Exhibit

“Books Unbound II,” a new exhibit featuring works by The Binders Guild, will be on display November 9 – 30, 2014 in Mount Mary University’s Marian Art Gallery. An artists’ reception will take place Friday, November 14 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The Binders Guild is a group of regional artisans who meet regularly to explore and create unbound art works in a variety of media. The exhibit gives shape, texture, medium and creative edges to the unbound structure and artistically redefines the concept of books in the 21st century.
