The Starving Artists' Show is celebrating its 46th year! All pieces that are for sale are under $100 featuring 250+ artists'. This Show is sponsored by the Mount Mary University Alumnae Association and a portion of the proceeds benefit student scholarships.
Please note the following: Tickets must be presented upon arrival at the admission gate. Presale tickets are not considered VIP passes and do not allow attendee early entrance into the Show. Will call option is not available. Ticket reprints or duplicates will not be admitted. If presale admission ticket is not presented at the gate, attendee will pay the price of admission to enter. Kids 12 and under are free. Parking is free. No pets (other than service animals) are allowed on Mount Mary Unviersity grounds. No bikes may be used inside the Show. Firearms and other dangerous weapons are not permitted on campus.
Starving Artists’ Show® 2015
The 46th Annual Starving Artists’ Show® will take place on Sunday, September 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the west lawn of Mount Mary University’s campus at 2900 North Menomonee River Parkway, Milwaukee, WI. The art show is sponsored by the Mount Mary University Alumnae Association, and the money raised at the show supports student scholarships for hundreds of talented women. The Show features over 230 local and national artists, offering original artwork priced at $100 and under.
The Publishing Institute @ Mount Mary
On Friday evening, September 25, an event with author and Madison native, Bridget Birdsall will take place. Birdsall will lead a discussion entitled “How Self-Publishing Led to Finding an Agent and Healed My Soul.” The event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. On Saturday, September 26, Mount Mary’s Master of Arts in English program will sponsor its Publishing Institute, a day-long gathering for writers to learn about getting published. Dean Bakopoulos, award-winning author, will keynote the event. The Publishing Institute will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
