People watch Conan O'Brien's late night show on TBS for many reasons, from his celebrity interviews to his hit "Clueless Gamer" bits and travels to foreign lands, like Korea and Taco Bell headquarters – all very funny. But last night, the late night legend added a new beat to his show's lineup.

Breaking sports news?

During last night's episode of "Conan," the host showed a preview clip for its latest "Clueless Gamer" segment – where the comedian and a celebrity play a new hit video game, and by "play," we mean "mash random buttons and die a lot" – with a very special guest: wounded Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, complete with his arm in a very sad looking sling. And during the introductions, Rodgers just casually happened to drop some breaking news about his potentially season-ending injury: The surgery to fix it resulted in 13 – THIRTEEN! – screws in his broken collarbone. We're no doctors here at OnMilwaukee, but that seems like a lot.

Also, according to Conan O'Brien, Rodgers postponed the surgery to play video games with the host. "They told him, by doing that, he's threatening his career," O'Brien explained, very seriously, "and he said, 'I don't care; Conan and this video game mean more to me than my future in the National Football League. That's a quote!

"Maybe!"

That sound you just heard was hundreds of JS commenters deleting their latest Aaron Rodgers tirades.

The rest of the segment in full will air tonight on "Conan," starting at 10 p.m. on TBS. In the meantime, you can watch this little preview clip in which the two play the highly anticipated "Assassin's Creed Origins," Conan whacks at hungry hungry hippos with a sword and Rodgers encourages him to run over innocent civilians with a chariot. And if the sight of our star quarterback in a sling with most of an Ace Hardware department in his shoulder is still too much to bear right now, here's some other non-Rodgers related (but still pretty great) "Clueless Gamer" segments.

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
