On Saturday, Barefoot Wine presents the second annual AVPNext Championship Cup at Bradford Beach.

The event, which was in Chicago last summer, gives amateur beach volleyball players across the country the chance to compete against the sport's most elite professional players. Three of these elite volleyballers, gold medalists Kerri Walsh, Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers, will be in town on Saturday.

The competitive event series draws 96 amateur athletes from local men's and women's beach volleyball leagues in 24 cities across the U.S. The winning male and female teams earn the right to compete against Dalhausser, Rogers and Walsh.

Since the AVP Pro Tour canceled the remainder of its 2010 Pro season, Barefoot Wine Cellars, a large beach volleyball sponsor, helped make this event possible.

Games begin at 10 a.m. Saturday and the finals are set for 3 p.m.
